In the early 1900’s, Laguna Beach was best known as an artists’ colony. One hundred years later, Laguna continues to attract artists and art lovers from all over the world.  Laguna Beach Books is located at The Old Pottery Place, formerly known as The Pottery Shack.  Founded in 1936, The Pottery Shack was a wonderful place to pick table settings or spend an afternoon browsing amongst unique gift items.

Today, The Old Pottery Place is once again a gathering spot, with an art- filled courtyard, gourmet restaurant and market, chocolatier and an interesting variety of retail stores, including Laguna Beach Books.

The carefully-restored “Greeter” remains at corner of The Old Pottery Place on Brooks Street and Pacific Coast Highway. He invites all who come to enjoy fabulous dining and shopping in a setting that evokes the same, unchangeable Laguna Beach charm.
